Growing up in New Jersey, Hector Mendez was drawn to music from an early age and loved bringing people together with it. He would go down to the basement of a close family friend while his friend made freestyle mixtapes. There was something magnetic about the way the right song could shift the energy in a room. That early connection to music never left Hector.

After moving to Florida, Hector channeled his passion into a job at a local radio station and spent his spare time making his own mixtapes and CDs. Before long, he would be hired to DJ at local bars and parties. It was there that he noticed something was missing. Venues and guests often needed things that weren’t being offered: the right lighting, the right equipment, those small but meaningful touches that separate a forgettable night from one people talk about for years.

Hector decided to leave the party scene and, in 2013, launched Creative Entertainment of Orlando to fill that gap. His vision was to provide people with everything their event needed, delivered with care and without compromise.

More than a decade later, that same drive is still at the center of everything CEO does for weddings, corporate events, private parties, and more across Florida.
